Welcome to Thursday Night Football - Week 4!
THURSDAY, SEPT 28
Look, I'm not suggesting the NFL should skip Week 4, but after the insanity of Week 3, taking a breather might not be the worst idea.
Why?
Because you'd think an NFL team racking up 70 points would dominate headlines, but then, out of nowhere, Taylor Swift shows up at the Chiefs game and all hell breaks loose.
Hereâs hoping she doesnât make an appearance at the Jets vs. Chiefs game this Sunday. My algorithms will never survive.
Itâs almost game time. Letâs get it!

In Week 4, the NFC North gets exciting.
While the division title isn't directly up for grabs, the winner of tonightâs game is poised to be the front-runner.
The Bears havenât impressed, putting them out of the race. Meanwhile, the Vikings, at 0-3 in one-score games after a stellar 11-0 last year, are lagging. This sets the stage for the Packers and Lions to vie for division dominance.
The Packers have been unpredictable. They nearly had a 3-0 start but faltered in Week 2 against the Falcons. On the other hand, they could have been at 1-2 if not for the Saintsâ own misstep in Week 3. Jordan Love's performance has been a mixed bag: brilliant for half the game, but lackluster in the other half.
A key factor to note: in Week 2, Love completed only 7 of 17 passes in the first half. Such inconsistency allowed the Saints to get ahead. If this trend persists, the Lions could capitalize and secure the win.
Our Take
The Packers will be seeking revenge against the Lions at Lambeau after their previous prime-time loss which affected their playoff chances.
However, Detroit has strengthened its defense, with notable players like Aidan Hutchinson and rookie Brian Branch.
The Packers are optimistic about Jordan Love's capabilities, but his performance under such intense pressure remains to be seen.
Additionally, several key Packers players, including Aaron Jones and Jaire Alexander, are battling injuries, even though Rashan Gary has made a strong return.
Despite the Packers' home advantage, given their health issues and uncertainties about Love's performance in a prime-time game, the prediction is in favor of the Lions winning and leading the NFC North.
